Welcome to Japan’s Kansai Property Showcase: Week 92 – June 2026 – Brought to You by Omoroi Osaka.

As we continue through June, the kansai property market remains active across Osaka, Kyoto, Hyogo, Nara, Shiga, and Wakayama. In this week's showcase, we'll be introducing six properties currently available for sale throughout the Kansai region, featuring a variety of homes, vacation properties, and investment opportunities across different price points and locations. Whether you're searching for a future residence, a holiday home, or your next investment, the kansai property market continues to offer a diverse range of options for both domestic and international buyers.

Before we begin this week's featured properties, we'd also like to share a quick update regarding our Japan Property Buyer Guidebooks. After months of preparation, our guidebooks are now officially available through our website and are designed specifically to help overseas buyers better understand the Japanese property purchasing process.

If you're interested in purchasing property in Japan from overseas, be sure to visit our Guidebooks page, where you'll find detailed resources covering the buying process, legal requirements, purchasing timelines, important documents, and much more.

Weekly Property Tip #2: Speak Directly With an Agent When Inquiring About Properties

When searching for property in Japan, many buyers use websites such as At Home, SUUMO, Homes, or Nifty Real Estate. However, one thing many people don't realize is that the agent listed on these websites is often not the actual seller's agent. In Japan, once a seller's agent gives permission, other real estate companies can advertise the property as well. This means that when you submit an inquiry through many property websites, you're often contacting a buyer's agent rather than the agent directly representing the seller.

Because of this, buyers can sometimes receive limited information or experience delays while information is passed between multiple parties. Working directly with an English-speaking agent can often make the process much smoother, especially for overseas buyers who may not speak Japanese.

At Omoroi Osaka, we're able to communicate directly with seller agents and discuss property details, availability, viewing arrangements, renovation concerns, financing questions, and other important information on your behalf. This helps eliminate unnecessary communication steps and allows us to provide clearer answers to your questions.

If you have questions about any property anywhere in Japan, feel free to reach out to us. We're always happy to review listings, contact seller agents directly, verify information, and help you better understand whether a property may be the right fit for your goals.

As always, if any kansai property from this week's showcase catches your interest, feel free to contact us. We'd be happy to assist with reviewing properties, confirming availability, arranging viewings, and helping guide you through the property purchasing process here in Japan.

Wrapping Up Week 92

That concludes Week 92 of Japan’s Kansai Property Showcase. As we continue through June, the kansai property market remains active across Osaka, Kyoto, Hyogo, Nara, Shiga, and Wakayama, with new properties continuing to enter the market each week. From affordable countryside homes and family residences to vacation properties and investment opportunities, the Kansai region continues to offer a wide range of options for buyers with different goals and budgets.

This week's six featured properties once again demonstrate the variety available throughout the kansai property market. One of the unique aspects of purchasing property in Japan is the sheer diversity of listings that can be found across the region. Buyers can often find significantly different property styles, land sizes, and price points even within neighboring cities, making it important to keep an open mind when exploring potential opportunities.

As more overseas buyers continue to discover the Japanese real estate market, one advantage that many find appealing is the ability to purchase property in Japan without needing residency or citizenship. While the purchasing process can differ from what buyers may be familiar with in their home countries, Japan remains one of the more accessible real estate markets for foreign buyers looking to purchase a home, vacation property, or investment asset.

Before making a property purchase in Japan, it's also important to understand the difference between freehold ownership and leasehold ownership. While the majority of residential properties are sold as freehold, some properties are located on leased land, which can affect ownership rights, financing options, and long-term costs. Taking the time to verify land ownership details early in the process can help avoid surprises later on.

If you're considering purchasing property in Japan, don't forget to visit our Guidebooks page for detailed resources covering the buying process, required documentation, legal considerations, purchasing timelines, and other helpful information designed specifically for overseas buyers.

As always, if any kansai property from this week's showcase catches your interest, feel free to reach out to us. We're happy to assist with reviewing listings, confirming availability, contacting seller agents directly, arranging property tours, and helping guide buyers through every step of the property purchasing process here in Japan.

Thank you again for following Week 92 of Japan’s Kansai Property Showcase. We look forward to bringing you more kansai property opportunities, market insights, and featured homes from across the Kansai region in the weeks ahead.
