Welcome to Japan’s Kansai Property Showcase: Week 91 – June 2026 – Brought to You by Omoroi Osaka.

As we begin June, the kansai property market continues to offer a wide variety of opportunities across Osaka, Kyoto, Hyogo, Nara, Shiga, and Wakayama. In this week’s showcase, we’ll be introducing six properties currently for sale throughout the Kansai region, featuring a mix of homes, vacation properties, and investment opportunities across different price ranges and locations. Whether you're searching for a future residence in Japan, a second home, or an investment property, the current kansai property market continues to provide a diverse selection of options for buyers both inside and outside Japan.

One factor that continues to benefit many international buyers is the relatively weak Japanese yen. While exchange rates naturally fluctuate, foreign currencies such as the US Dollar, Australian Dollar, Euro, British Pound, and several others continue to provide increased purchasing power compared to previous years. For buyers considering a kansai property purchase, this may present an attractive opportunity to enter the Japanese real estate market while exchange rates remain favorable.

As part of our ongoing efforts to improve the Kansai Property Showcase, we're introducing a new weekly tip section to help buyers better navigate the Japanese real estate market.

Weekly Property Tip #1: Use Japanese Property Search Websites

If you're serious about purchasing property in Japan, we strongly recommend using Japanese property search websites whenever possible. While there are several English-language property websites available, most only display a small fraction of the listings that are actively available on the market. Japanese platforms such as At Home, SUUMO, and Nifty Real Estate typically provide a much larger selection of properties, more up-to-date information, and access to listings that may never appear on English-language websites. Even if you don't read Japanese, modern translation tools can make browsing these sites much easier and significantly expand your property search options.

We also have a small update regarding our upcoming Japan property buying guidebook. After more than a month of working through payment processing and website setup requirements, we've finally made significant progress, and our guidebooks are now available through our website.

If you're interested in purchasing property in Japan from overseas, be sure to visit our Guidebooks page, where you'll find step-by-step resources covering the buying process, legal requirements, costs, and other essential information for foreign buyers. Click here to go directly to the guidebook.

As always, if any kansai property from this week's showcase catches your interest, feel free to reach out to us. We're happy to assist with reviewing properties, confirming availability, coordinating with seller agents, arranging property tours, and helping guide you through the property purchasing process here in Japan.

Wrapping Up Week 91

That concludes Week 91 of Japan’s Kansai Property Showcase. As we move into June and begin the summer season, the kansai property market continues to provide a steady flow of opportunities across Osaka, Kyoto, Hyogo, Nara, Shiga, and Wakayama. Activity remains strong throughout the region, with new listings continuing to appear each week across a variety of price ranges, property types, and locations.

This week’s six featured properties once again highlight the diversity that can be found within today’s kansai property market. From affordable homes in smaller cities to larger residences and investment opportunities in more established areas, the Kansai region continues to offer options that appeal to a wide range of buyers. Whether your goal is to purchase a primary residence, a vacation home, or an investment property, there are still many opportunities available throughout the region.

As exchange rates continue to remain favorable for many overseas buyers, interest in Japanese real estate has remained strong. While exchange rates should never be the only factor when purchasing property, the current market conditions continue to provide additional purchasing power for many buyers using foreign currencies, making this an attractive time to explore the kansai property market.

Before making an offer on any property in Japan, one important thing to remember is to look beyond the home itself and pay close attention to the surrounding area.

Factors such as access to transportation, nearby shops and services, road conditions, neighborhood atmosphere, and future development plans can have a significant impact on both your daily life and the long-term value of a property. Taking the time to research the area thoroughly can be just as important as evaluating the home itself.

As always, if any kansai property from this week's showcase catches your interest, feel free to reach out to us. We're happy to assist with reviewing listings, confirming availability, coordinating with seller agents, arranging property tours, and helping guide buyers through every step of the property purchasing process here in Japan.

Thank you again for following Week 91 of Japan’s Kansai Property Showcase. We look forward to bringing you even more kansai property opportunities, market insights, and featured homes from across the Kansai region in the weeks ahead.
