Welcome to Japan’s Kansai Property Showcase: Week 86 – May 2026 – Brought to You by Omoroi Osaka. As we move further into the spring season, the kansai property market continues to stay active, with a steady flow of new listings and a wide range of opportunities for both buyers and investors. This week, we’re introducing six properties for sale across the Kansai region, offering a mix of locations, price points, and property types that reflect the depth and diversity of today’s kansai property landscape. Whether you’re searching for a home to live in, a vacation property, or an investment opportunity, there are still strong options worth paying attention to across the region.


As mentioned last week, our complete guidebook to buying property in Japan is now finished and ready to go—we’re currently just waiting on the payment processing system to be finalized. Once that’s in place, the guidebook will be officially released on our website, with direct access available there as well as through links shared on Instagram and Facebook. Be sure to continue keeping an eye out, as it will be available very soon.


We also want to give a quick update on the direction of the showcase moving forward. Last week, we removed the map feature after noticing it wasn’t being used as much as expected. Over the past month, we’ve also been rethinking how we present the showcase overall. While it will remain the Kansai Property Showcase and will continue to feature six highlighted properties each week, we’ll begin gradually refining the format. Moving forward, these six featured properties will become a bit more streamlined, as much of their detailed information is already being shared through our social media channels.


Instead, we’ll be placing a stronger focus on the additional listings section—particularly the 100+ kansai property listings included at the bottom of each article. This is where we’ve seen the most interest, and we’ll be working on better ways to present and organize these listings so they become more central to each showcase. You can expect to start seeing these changes roll out gradually beginning next week.


For now, this week’s showcase will remain largely the same.
