As Week 41 of Japan’s Kansai Property Showcase draws to a close, we continue to reveal the rich spectrum of lifestyle options that make Kansai such a dynamic and desirable region for homebuyers. From ancient capitals to modern suburbs, this week’s properties once again showcase the incredible range of living environments available across Kyoto, Osaka, Hyogo, and Nara.


We began in the tranquil northern corner of Kyoto’s Nishikyo Ward—Oharanokamisato Kitanomachi—a peaceful neighborhood steeped in nature and tradition. From there, Kusakacho 2-chome in Higashiosaka delivered convenient urban living with excellent access to Osaka’s city center.


Kobe’s Nagata Ward brought us 8-chome Futabacho, a residential hub combining city energy with everyday livability, while Matogatacho in historic Himeji offered suburban comfort near one of Japan’s most famous castles. In Hirakata’s Kitanakaburi district, we discovered a family-friendly setting perfectly positioned between Osaka and Kyoto—ideal for commuters and growing households alike.


Week 41 also took us deep into the Nara countryside with Ouda Manroku in Uda City, where rural charm meets cultural heritage, and concluded with Shinomiya Koganezuka in Kyoto’s Yamashina Ward—a hillside retreat offering quiet living just minutes from central Kyoto.
